Originality does not mean thinking something that was never thought before;it means putting old ideas together in new ways

The issue ”Originality does not mean thinking something that was never thought before” is a disputable one. On the one hand the notion of originality is not related to innovative ideas just because innovation means creating something extraordinary without the usage of the old. But the above statements clearly show that innovativeness is a part of originality which is to be used for being efficient

Originality comes from the latin word ‘origo’ which means birth. So the term originality refers to birth of something. Innovation is another word which is closely related with originality. It signifies, bringing out new ideas. However innovation is something which is more attractive. It is used in that sense. In one way modifying the old ideas to full effect and making it more efficient is called innovation. In another way bringing out a new era of ideas (that is ‘birth’) is also referred to innovation
Anyway there is a possibility that when one runs out of ideas he thinks about the past to modify something which is not so popular. It is like opening a old bottle of wine and adding flavour to it. Old movies which had no recognition is brought out new, adding some spice to it. Anyway in some fields it is very sad to note that old devotional songs of lord is remixed and used badly in clubs. Innovation here is hurting the Indian culture. These are some of the misconceptions created in the name of innovation to religious people indirectly.
Furthermore, some of the mathematicians like Sir Issac Newton, Archimedes had the originality in math field. But using their ideas they proved a theory in the field of physics.
This was possible only through evaluating existing ideas in math and nothing else. This is a type of innovation that had the base of mathematics which proves it all.

I thereby conclude by stating that originality and innovation are closely related. The base or center of a theory is called originality. Originality is defined for the first discovery that has happened. However when days go by, according to the needs of the people new ideas are added to the old to bring out the best of it. This turns out to be a never ending process in the minds of the people who have new ideas.
